NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the New Lebanon Town Board is seeking persons interested in serving in the
following position for the term as noted:
Planning Board (7 year term – expires 12/31/2028): The Planning Board is a seven year term and the Planning
Board meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The primary responsibilities of the Planning Board
are to review and make determinations on applications for subdivisions of land, site plan review, and most special
use permits. Questions should be directed to Elizabeth Brutsch at [email protected]. The vacancy to be
filled is the remainder of a 7 year term, expiring on 12/31/2028.
Ethics Board Member (5 year term – expires 12/31/2028): Persons interested in serving in this position must be
a resident of the Town of New Lebanon. Upon the written request of any Town Officer or employee, the Board of
Ethics may render a written advisory opinion with respect to the interpretation or application of the Town of New
Lebanon’s Code of Ethics or of Article 18 of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. The Board of
Ethics has the power and duty to conduct any investigation necessary to carry out the provisions of the Town of
New Lebanon’s Code of Ethics. The vacancy to be filled is the remainder of a 5 year term, expiring on 12/31/2028.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that unless otherwise specified, all applicants must be residents of the Town of New
Lebanon. Persons interested in serving in this position are to submit a letter of interest to the New Lebanon Town
Clerk. Letters may be submitted via mail to P.O. Box 328, New Lebanon, NY 12125; delivered to the Town Hall at
14755 Route 22; or emailed to [email protected]. Letters must be received in the Office of the
Town Clerk by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6th, 2024. Interviews, if needed will be scheduled for Monday,
December 30th, 2024, starting at 5:15pm.
