Presented by Johanna Van Fleet and Alexandro Ramos of Cornell Brooks School of Public Policy.
Every 5 years FEMA requires Columbia County and New Lebanon to update their Hazard Mitigation Plan to qualify for FEMA funding in the event of natural disasters. Hazard mitigation means to reduce or alleviate the losses of life, injuries, and property resulting from natural hazards through long-term strategies.
All residents are invited to give feedback on the recommendations that our CSC Task Force and Cornell partners are proposing for New Lebanon.
