Takes place at Shatford Park Pavilion at 5pm. Presentation by Johanna Van Fleet and Alejandro Ramos, Hazard Mitigation Interns from Cornell Brooks School of Public Policy.

Every 5 years FEMA requires Columbia County and New Lebanon to update their Hazard Mitigation Plan to qualify for FEMA funding in the event of natural disasters. Hazard mitigation means to reduce or alleviate the losses of life, injuries, and property resulting from natural hazards through long-term strategies.

All residents are invited to give feedback on the recommendations that our CSC Task Force and Cornell partners are proposing for New Lebanon.
